New Milford Hospital Opens $3.5M Multi-Specialty Center

A new specialized care center with 14 exam rooms and space for patients to access their medical cards has opened at New Milford Hospital in Connecticut.

The Haims Family Multi-Center is on the hospital’s third-floor wing and is named after the project’s lead donors, Roxbury’s Bruce Haims and his family. Nearly 100 gifts were made to help fund the 8,500-square foot center, with donor commitments totaling just under $3.5 million, The Register Citizen reports.

“Patient care can be transformed into more contemporary patient-centered services and facilities in partnership with our generous community,” said Nuvance Health Eastern Regional President Sharon Adams. “The Haims Family Multi-Specialty Center is a testament to this kind of vision, philanthropy and partnership now providing access to needed specialists in a central location.” Read more.
