Mississippi Hospital Receives $6M Loan for Working Capital, Debt Management

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development has loaned $6 million in Business and Industry Loan Guarantees Program funds to Live Oak Bank for Progressive Medical Management of Batesville doing business as Panola Medical Center, the Press Register reports.

The Business and Industry Loan Guarantees Program offers loan guarantees to lenders for their loans to rural businesses. The Rural Development investment will be used to provide working capital, equipment purchases and refinancing existing debts for Progressive Medical Management of Batesville.

Panola Medical Center is a 96 bed hospital located in Batesville and rapidly becoming a hub hospital serving surrounding counties.
