Catholic Health will take an ownership stake in another ambulatory surgery center, Buffalo Business First reports. The deal for Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York gives the Buffalo-based health system its first stand-alone outpatient surgery center in the Northtowns.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Catholic Health said it now gains a majority ownership in the company. Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York is the region’s largest non-hospital surgery center, with more than 27,000 procedures performed last year.
