The undisclosed amount will go toward a $450 million, 15-floor pavilion set to open in 2026 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Funds will be used for a new center that aims to identify and invest in sports medicine innovations.

Made possible by a $15.9 million grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, the AHA Center for Telehealth will provide telehealth education and resources through collaboration with the telehealth community.

Almost $1 billion of NYU Langone's support in the past four years is unrestricted, with donors relying entirely on the health system to designate how it should best be spent.

Beebe Medical Foundation has increased its fundraising target by an additional $7.5 million, bringing the new goal to a total of $30 million.

“Funding from public sources would be $105.6 million of the 140.6 million that are needed leaving a significant opportunity for private philanthropy,” said Richard P. Lofgren, president and CEO of OU Health.

The campaign is now focusing on supporting a new clinic for the "medical residents of today and tomorrow," deploying a second mobile health unit, upgrading at a second catheterization lab, completing a fifth operating room for robotic surgery at the Specialty Surgical Hospital and continuing renovations at the Tunnell Cancer Center.

Funding will support the St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Center.

Bucktail Medical Center, an independent hospital in western Clinton County, Pennsylvania, is asking for nearly $1.5 million on the crowdfunding platform to help it stay open. 

The gift comes from NYU Langone trustee Trudy Elbaum Gottesman and Robert W. Gottesman, founding donors of Sala Institute for Child and Family Centered Care
