Aetna is set to offer a new nationwide primary care solution, the insurer announced.
The new service is backed by Teladoc Health’s physician-led care team model, drawing on Aetna’s provider network and services provided by parent company CVS Health.
Patients will have access to a continuous relationship with a virtual primary care doc, which begins with a 30-to-45-minute initial visit. Members can also connect to a range of physicians and specialists depending on their needs, Aetna said. The service also promises a $0 co-pay for virtual primary care visits and select in-person services at MinuteClinic and CVS HealthHUB locations. Read more.
