Mercy Health-Youngstown has acquired property about 1 mile from its St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, a move that opens the door for expanded access to health care and new space for the provider’s residency programs, the Vindicator reports.
The deal worth $850,000 includes the former Youngstown Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic and other parcels that were consolidated, according to the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office.
Tri-State Laboratories was the former owner. It had owned the VA clinic since 2005, according to the auditor’s office. Read more.
