Beaumont-Spectrum Merger in Michigan Advances with Formal Integration Agreement: Report

Beaumont Health and Spectrum Health announced today that they’ve signed a formal integration agreement, another step forward in a mega merger that would combine two of Michigan’s largest hospital systems into a single massive operation, The Detroit Free Press reports.

The new health system, temporarily to be named the BHSH System, would employ 64,000 people and operate 22 hospitals spanning the state. Read more.
