Shasta Regional Medical Center in California is ending its contract with Anthem because of alleged contract violations, the hospital told the Record Searchlight.
In an email to the newspaper, Shasta Regional Medical Center CEO Casey Fatch accused Anthem of “repeated breaches” of their contract after repeated conflict resolution attempts.
Anthem countered by telling the newspaper that the parties signed a multiyear contract this year, but Shasta Regional came back to the table seeking higher rates. Read more.
