Nicklaus Children’s Hospital recently announced a $5 million gift from VoLo Foundation — a private family foundation — to support advancements in pediatric surgical care and treatment, Miami’s Community News reports.
In recognition of the gift, the hospital soon will designate a “VoLo Foundation Cardiac and Neurology Floor” on the Nicklaus Children’s main campus.
At South Florida’s only freestanding pediatric hospital, Nicklaus Children’s surgeons perform more than 16,000 surgeries a year. Read more.
