Massachusetts AG Raises Concerns over Mass General Brigham’s $400M Expansion Plan

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey raised concerns over Mass General Brigham’s $400 million expansion plans for three ambulatory care centers. In her report the AG said the hospital’s move would increase healthcare costs.

She recommended a further review of the plans to determine “the extent to which these projects contribute to or threaten the state’s goals for cost containment, and their impact on the state’s goals of health care access for all and health equity.” Read more
