The Medicare agreement between United Memorial Medical Center and the Secretary of Health & Human Services, relating to the hospital’s participation in the Medicaid program and the Health Insurance for the Aged and Disabled Program (Medicare), will be terminated Dec. 11, CMS wrote in a legal notice.
The cause for Medicare/Medicaid termination is United Memorial Medical Center’s failure to meet the minimum health and safety standards required for Medicare program participation. The hospital does not comply with the Medicare/Medicaid conditions. Read more.
