Sarasota Memorial Invests $1B+ in New Facilities

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida closes 2021 with 3 milestone projects funded with a $1.2 billion investment:

SMH-Venice is the health system’s second acute-care hospital, built to serve the rapidly growing south Sarasota County population. The 5-story, 365,000-square-foot facility features 110 private patient rooms.

The Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute is an 8-story oncology and surgical tower.

The Cornell Family Behavioral Health Pavilion is slated to begin construction early next year. The 3-story, 95,000-square-foot facility will be built on the hospital’s Sarasota campus. Read more.
