Magellan Healthcare has rolled out a program to help provide behavioral wellness resources to older adults dealing with a number of social determinants of health, reports Behavioral Health Business.
Magellan Healthcare is administering the program with DUOS, a virtual platform that provides users with care coordination resources like transportation and medical appointments, as well as locating licensed in-home providers and in-network physicians.
The program operated by the Magellan-DUOS partnership will extend care coordination to help users manage social isolation, healthcare access and behavioral health needs, while also allowing them to maintain a level of independence. Read more.
