King’s Daughters’ Health in Madison, Indiana has joined the Louisville-based Norton Healthcare system. King’s Daughters’ will be renamed Norton King’s Daughters’ Health and becomes Norton Healthcare’s fifth adult-service hospital, the first outside of Louisville. It will be Norton Healthcare’s sixth hospital overall; the health care system also owns and operates Norton Children’s Hospital. Norton Healthcare is Louisville’s third largest employer, with more than 17,000 employees, over 1,600 employed medical providers and approximately 2,000 total physicians on its medical staff.
