Beaumont Health and Grand Rapids’ Spectrum Health launches as one integrated health system today, reports Modern Healthcare. The temporarily named BHSH Health passed regulatory merger approval and is now the largest employer in the state with roughly 64,000 employees, ahead of General Motors’ 48,000 Michigan employees and Ford’s 47,000 local employees.
