McLaren Greater Lansing to Open New $600M Hospital in March

McLaren Greater Lansing said it will open its new $600-million hospital on March 6, reports the Lansing State Journal.

The new facility has been under construction since 2018 and will house an expanded emergency department, intensive care unit, heart institute and orthopedic and sports medicine units.

With the new campus opening, the health organization eventually will close its existing hospitals on West Greenlawn Avenue and South Pennsylvania Avenue.

All inpatient services will move to the new hospital when it opens March 6, a spokesperson said. Some outpatient clinics will remain in the existing facilities until the new quarters are ready, likely this spring. Read more.
