Saint Luke’s South Hospital is expanding state-of-the-art pain management care available to Johnson County, Kansas, through its new Saint Luke’s Pain Management Center.
The center opended this week. Patients have access to a wide range of therapies and procedures, including nerve and spinal cord stimulation, radio frequency ablation, and facet joint injections.
About 20% of adults in the U.S. suffer from chronic pain, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The specialists at Saint Luke’s Pain Management Center will focus on creating individualized treatment plans, decreasing patients’ pain and increasing their mobility, as well as reducing or eliminating dependency on pain medication.
