Broward Health in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in a notice to patients insured by United Healthcare said it has been unable to reach an agreement with the insurer on its payment contract. If the parties are unable to strike a deal, Broward said it would no longer be in the United Healthcare network as of April 1. That also applies to United Heralthcare subsidiaries like Neighborhood Health Plan.
“UnitedHealthcare has historically undervalued the care our team members provide,” Broward Health said in the statement.
