A New Jersey health system will continue its expansion into Bucks County with the creation of a “multi-specialty surgical hospital,” Levittown Now reports.
Capital Health purchased the former bariatric surgery center in Middletown Township in 2019. The health system announced Friday it plans to renovate and add onto the building.
Capital Health plans to open the facility for patients in early 2024, according to Anchor Health Properties, which is working with Capital Health on the site.
The new facility will be considered a hospital, but it will not have an emergency room. The vacant medical facility will see its existing 53,220 square feet renovated and a roughly 19,000 square foot expansion. Read more.
