Dignity Health opened a $13 million surgery center Tuesday in Citrus Heights as part of the company’s 10-year-old joint venture with Dallas-based United Surgical Partners International, The Sacramento Bee reports.
Occupying 16,000 square feet, the ambulatory center will offer surgeries and procedures that don’t require a hospital stay. The facility expects to care for patients requiring treatments from orthopedists, gastroenterologists, general surgeons, otolaryngologists, pain specialists and podiatrists. Read more.
