Indiana’s Memorial Hospital to Invest $230M for Expansion

South Bend-based Beacon Health System says it will invest $232 million to expand Memorial Hospital in downtown South Bend, reports Inside Indiana Business. The health system says it will build a 10-story tower, plus the addition of several floors on top of part of its existing footprint.

Beacon says the expansion will create 500 new jobs once the project is completed in March 2026. The project will result in more than 50 new patient beds on top of its current 250 adult bed capacity. Read more.
