ChristianaCare is planning to open a $3.6 million pediatric care center later this year at its Newark campus in northern Delaware, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.
The new pediatric care center will make it easier for families to get medical attention for a child. It will be open 24/7 and provide short-stay inpatient and non-trauma emergency care. The 8,400-square-foot center will be on the first floor of the health system’s $260 million Center for Women’s & Children’s Health, which opened in April. Read more.
