Hint Health Hauls in $45M

Hint Health raised $45 million in Series B funding, led by Banneker Partners and Frist Cressey Ventures. The new investment brings the company’s funding total to $60 million. The company will use the money to support growth of its operating system, expand its national DPC network, and increase services, Forbes reports.

“The U.S. healthcare system is broken and it’s bankrupting our economy,” said Hint CEO Zak Holdsworth. “Historically, most innovation happening in healthcare is built on top of this ancient fee-for-service infrastructure, which does not allow the root cause of the problem to be solved. In order to fix the problem and restore our economy, we needed to circumvent the existing infrastructure and build our own.” Read more.
