ARC Physical Therapy+ is expanding into Arkansas with the acquisition of AthletePlus Physical Therapy & Spine, the Kansas City Business Journal reports.
AthletePlus opened in 2008 and has four employees. The new Northwest Arkansas location in Springdale, which is overseen by Lead Physical Therapist Jessica Kessler, brings ARC’s outpatient clinic count to 29.
In addition to its 16 Kansas City-area clinics, the Overland Park, Kansas-based physical and occupational therapy group also has three locations in Wichita, three in Northwest Missouri, two in Southwest Missouri, two in the Des Moines area, and one each in Topeka and Manhattan, Kansas.
According to a spokeswoman, ARC now has 132 total employees, including 105 in the Kansas City area. Read more.
