Texas Oncology announced today the expansion of its radiation oncology services in El Paso through an agreement to acquire the radiation assets at Del Sol Medical Center.
The acquisition will enable Texas Oncology to offer an additional site that provides integrated, centralized care to patients whose comprehensive cancer treatment plans include radiation therapy, The El Paso Herald Post reports. In addition to a linear accelerator that delivers external beam radiation treatment, the site also provides PET/CT, an important imaging tool used to diagnose and evaluate tumors. Read more.
