Shopko Optical Buying Midwest Vision Centers

Shopko Optical announced it would acquire Midwest Vision Centers to further expand its growing footprint of vision centers, the Greenbay Press Gazette reports.

Based in St. Cloud, Minn., Midwest Vision operates 18 locations in North Dakota and Minnesota. Once the acquisition is complete, Shopko Optical will operate 142 total locations across 13 states. The four North Dakota stores will be Shopko Optical’s first in the state. The 14 Minnesota locations will increase Shopko Optical’s footprint to 29 in that state. The acquisition is Shopko Optical’s seventh in 2022 and marks an ongoing shift in growth strategy for the company established in 2019. Read more.
