Springfield Clinic in IL Eyes New Construction, Addition of Nearly $50M

More efficiency and consolidation of services are some of the reasons behind a nearly $50 million building project undertaken by Springfield Clinic, The State Journal-Register reports.

The expansion includes a $20 million pediatric and adolescent center already underway.

Also on the horizon, said Tom Fitch, the clinic’s vice president of facilities, real estate and construction, is a $17 million state-of-the-art medical lab and a four-story, $11 million expansion of its South Sixth Street building. Read more.
