Proposed Hospital Sale Would Include Closure of St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ

Plans for a proposed hospital sale in central New Jersey include closing St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton and shifting many of the hospital’s services and programs to nearby Capital Health Regional Medical Center, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.

Capital Health singed an agreement in January to acquire the 191-bed hospital.

The buyer is committed to hiring as many of the hospital’s employees as possible if the sale is approved. Read more.
