WVU Medicine Furthers Marion County Investment with Fairmont Medical Center Plans

With the addition of a $400,000 pulmonary and sleep disorder clinic this week, WVU Medicine’s Fairmont Medical Center is gradually opening more and more specialty care units for the Marion County community, with more amenities on the way, The Fairmont News reports.

About $1 million of the system’s $100 million investment into the hospital has been spent so far.

In the next several months, dialysis and picc lines will be made available as inpatient services, while the hospital hopes to open a wound clinic for outpatients. Read more.
