Spectrum Health Breaks Ground on Orthopedic Health & Performance Center in Grand Rapids

BHSH Spectrum Health West Michigan broke ground on a new Orthopedic Health & Performance Center, a four-story building that will house five operating rooms, clinics, and training areas where athletes can learn about injury prevention, M Live reports.

The building, expected to be completed in mid-2024, is Spectrum’s fist first free-standing ambulatory surgery center, and is a partnership with Arizona-based Atlas Healthcare Partners. It’s located adjacent to Spectrum’s Integrated Care Campus in Grand Rapids Township.

Spectrum said it’s not releasing the total cost of the project, though the five operating rooms are expected to cost $15 million. Read more.
