The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA; Washington, D.C.) has started construction on the Hampton VA Medical Center in Chesapeake, Va, Healthcare Design reports.
The project will include outpatient services such as primary care, mental health, eye, imaging, and specialty care services. It’s slated for completion in summer 2024.
The VA is partnering with U.S. General Services Administration (GSA; Washington, D.C.), which delivers real estate, acquisition, and technology services to the government, on the project.
