HHS Putting $13M into Growing, Strengthening Nursing Workforce

In an effort to address the ongoing shortage of nurses in the U.S healthcare system, the Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $13 million to bolster nursing education and training to grow the nursing workforce and improve access to nursing education.

The awards, administered through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), are part of a series of investments across HHS and the Department of Labor to support pathways into good, quality nursing jobs.
