The sale of Weiss Memorial Hospital in Uptown and West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, IL is moving forward, after a delay that contributed to the seller’s filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, Modern Healthcare reports. Resilience Healthcare and Ramoco Healthcare Holdings are set to purchase the two hospitals from for-profit hospital operator Pipeline Health System for about $92 million, and are expected to take over operations of the two hospitals on Dec. 2, said Jane Brust, a spokeswoman for Pipeline Health.
