Rural Virginia Hospital Raises $18M for Expansion

Kilmarnock, VA-based Rappahannock General Hospital raised $18 million to invest in repairs and expansion for the rural hospital, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. 

The hospital will open an expanded emergency room this week; the first major renovation since Rappahannock General opened in 1977. 

The campaign’s original goal was $15 million, since revised to $20 million. Read more.
