Novant Health has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Davis Regional Medical Center and their related businesses, including physician clinic operations and outpatient services from subsidiaries of Community Health Systems. The price is approximately $320 million.
Lake Norman is a 123-bewd acute care hospital. Davis Regional was a 146-bed acute care hospital before transitioning into a behavioral health care facility. Both centers are in North Carolina.
The transactions are subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close later this year. Read more.
