Nonprofit health system Centra announced a new joint venture with behavioral health operator Lifepoint Behavioral Health. Through this JV, the pair plan to build and operate a new inpatient behavioral health hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia, per Behavioral Health Business.
Dubbed Centra Behavioral Health Hospital, the 75,000-square-foot facility will have 72 beds. Construction for the behavioral health facility is expected to start in 2024, with a 2025 opening date.
