Providers at OB-GYN Associates of Iowa City and Coralville will become Mercy Iowa City Hospital and Clinic system employees on June 30. The acquisition will expand the care offerings of Mercy Iowa City while ensuring expecting parents continue to have a choice in where they deliver their babies in the region, the Corridor Business Journal reports.
Mercy Iowa City birthing center has five labor and delivery suites, a dedicated C-section suite and a pediatric hospitalist team. More than 800 babies are born at Mercy Iowa City each year. Read more.
