Northwell’s Peconic Bay Medical Center Unveils $92M Expansion Project

Northwell Health’s Peconic Bay Medical Center unveiled its strategic plan for expanding the physical space of the hospital and advancing healthcare services available to Eastern Suffolk County, NY. The initiative is intended to elevate the patient experience and lay the foundation for bringing advanced specialized care to the area.

Along with implementing new, life-saving technology, PBMC’s goal is to add 6,600 square feet to the emergency department, increase bed capacity, and establish a brand-new private Center for Women and Infants. The campaign to support these efforts was introduced by PBMC’s Executive Director, Amy Loeb, EdD, MBA, R.N., who also announced that the hospital has already raised over $30 million of its $50 million goal to support the expansion.
