Virtua Health Acquires Rconstructive Orthopedics in NJ

Moorestown, NJ-based Reconstructive Orthopedics and its 300-plus employees are now part of Virtua Health’s Virtua Medical Group. The medical-surgical practice is now Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics. More than 90 orthopedic clinicians are now part of the VMG staff.

Virtua Health, South Jersey’s largest health system, announced its intention to acquire Reconstructive Orthopedics in April, ROI-NJ.com reports.

Based in Marlton, not-for-profit Virtua Health operates five acute-care hospitals, 38 surgery centers and 350 other care locations. VMG is a network of more than 1,000 medical and surgical physicians and other clinicians employed by or exclusively affiliated with Virtua that collectively offer an array of care services, including primary care, urgent care and specialty care.
