St. Louis, Missouri-based Care and Counseling has merged with the larger nonprofit Provident Behavioral Health, per Behavioral Health Business.
The two organizations operate six locations, including a residential treatment center: Mary Ryder Home.
“Joining with Care and Counseling will allow us to expand our footprint within the region so we can deliver exceptional services to even more people,” Kevin Drollinger, president and executive director of Provident Behavioral Health, said.
After the merger, Provident Behavioral Health will care for about 4,000 people in the St. Louis region and field 40,000 engagements throughout the U.S. through crisis hotlines yearly.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
