CMS Fines California Hospital for Price Transparency Violation

CMS has fined West Covina (CA)  Medical Center for alleged price transparency violations, per Becker’s.

The system, which has fewer than 30 beds, was fined $59,100 on Sept. 27 for alleged noncompliance, according to CMS’ hospital price transparency enforcement website. 

West Covina Medical Center has 30 days from the issuance date to appeal the fine.
