St. Elizabeth Healthcare to Build New $125M Hospital with ER, Surgical Care

St. Elizabeth Healthcare said it is moving forward in Indiana with plans to build a new $125 million hospital in the region. The facility, expected to open in 2027, will come complete with an emergency department, surgical capability and inpatient care.

The health system, headquartered in Edgewood, will build the three-story, 120,000-square-foot hospital in Southeastern Indiana, in the city of Greendale in Dearborn County. It will neighbor St. Elizabeth Physicians offices and the new St. Elizabeth Cancer Center-Dearborn, initially a $30 million project, which is scheduled to open in spring 2024, reports the Cincinnati Business Courier.
