Centene — the largest Medicaid managed care organization in the country — announced its Ohio subsidiary, Buckeye Health Plan, was awarded a new Medicaid contract by the state’s health department, to begin early 2022. In 2020, Buckeye was Ohio’s fastest-growing Medicaid plan according to market share, serving more than 420,000 members.
