A plan to build the eight-story Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley, which will be located on the campus of DHR Health in Edinburg, will result in a $100+ million private investment for the ultramodern medical complex, the Advance News Journal reports.
Driscoll Children’s Hospital, which will be the 35th free-standing children’s hospital in the United States, also will create up to 400 jobs and result in the construction of several hundred new homes for those employees who move to the area. Read more.
