Unified Women’s Healthcare Acquires Women’s Health USA

Unified Women’s Healthcare, a practice management platform backed by Altas Partners, funds managed by the Private Equity Group of Ares Management and Oak HC/FT, today announced that it acquired Women’s Health USA, which provides practice management services for the women’s health sector. Sverica Capital Management, the current majority shareholder in WHUSA, has reinvested a portion of its proceeds into the combined company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Through the combination, Unified and WHUSA now represent the largest physician practice management company dedicated solely to women in the United States, the companies said in a press release. Together, they will provide comprehensive business services to more than 2,500 providers across nearly 900 locations. Read more.
