Evergreen Nephrology will work with Brooklyn Center-based Kidney Specialists of Minnesota with a goal of changing a system that focuses on end-stage treatment rather than prevention, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports.
As part of the deal, Evergreen will invest in KSM primarily in the preventative medicine space. The idea is that investing in clinics for preventative measures in kidney care and focusing on that space will free up the clinic to deal with more serious cases.
