Multimillion-Dollar Grant Aims to Keep Doctors in Georgia

The need for more doctors in rural Georgia areas is increasing by the day, WRDW reports.

U.S. Sens. Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff secured more than $5 million for Augusta University Medical Center to support and place medical professionals in areas with few or no specialty doctors.

Several counties in the region do not have OBGYNs, pediatricians or emergency medical doctors. Read more.
