Middletown’s Community Health Center is among two state entities that will receive thousands of dollars in Public Health AmeriCorps funding, the Middletown Press reports in Connecticut.
The Community Health Center is receiving $432,000 for Healthy Communities, where 15 full-time AmeriCorps members will participate in various activities related to outreach, education, linkage to care, retention in care, COVID-19 vaccination, and engagement in health care and support services across community-based sites in Connecticut.
