Mount Sinai Health System plans to split up the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary by parceling out its services to various locations in downtown Manhattan and merging its operating certificate with Beth Israel Hospital, according to physicians familiar with the matter and internal planning documents reviewed by Crain’s.
