Delray Medical Center opened 24 new patient rooms, alongside a new operating room upgraded with the latest technology. Located on the 2nd floor of the surgical tower, the new additions include a dedicated surgical ortho, surgical stepdown and surgical inpatient units, designed to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
The expansion includes enhanced robotic capabilities, including the DaVinci XI and Aquabeam system, reports South Florida Hospital News. The fourth generation DaVinci robot assists physicians performing minimally invasive procedures across a wide range of procedures, while maximizing efficiency. The Aquabeam provides Aquablation therapy, which delivers minimally invasive benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) surgery to treat lower urinary tract symptoms. Read more.
